Recent Roundup:
- The Absolute Minimum Every ‘The Absolute Minimum Every Software Developer Absolutely, Positively Must Know About Unicode and Character Sets (No Excuses!)’ Author Absolutely, Positively Must Know About Unicode and Character Sets
- Easy Image Annotation for the Semantic Web (if anyone can get this to print corrently, including the images, please let me know)
- paranoidfish.org doesn’t get Zope – me either.
- Good float tutorial with plenty of examples
- Jesse Ruderman (of Firebird and amazing bookmarklets fame) has just turned 21. I wish I’d been this productive when I was 21.
(..speaking of which, Firebird 0.7 is mooted for next week, including web panels! hurrah!)
Add an envelope symbol to mailto links (Mozilla):
a[href^="mailto:"]:before { content: "\2709 " }
- Recently Released, Single Word Domains via RSS
- An old piece by Ben Hammersely on why we need namespaces (I still can’t read his feed in JabRSS due to errors)
- A long list of RSS aggregators
- What’s the slogan? – I didn’t know MS’s, so it can’t be that good.
- Excellent guide to accessible image-tab rollovers
most of these have been skimmed from paranoidfish.org, but that’s what he gets for seeing lots of stuff I like. :)
I’ve also been re-subscribing to a load of feeds (my list for the past couple of months has only been about 10-15 feeds long) that I’d almost forgotten about. I’d removed my desktop aggregator, but fortunately had kept a list at http://philwilson.org/blog/syn.xml
Speak of the devil – when I first checked (about half an hour ago) Firebird 0.7 hadn’t yet been made available. Now it has. Download in progress!
